Exmoor
Dunster is surrounded by isolated hills, beyond which rises the open moor: a high, heather-clad plateau, cut by secret forested river valleys. The hills run right up to the sea, producing a spectacular coastline of high cliffs and secluded bays.
Exmoor has a large network of footpaths and bridleways, as well as ancient villages and quiet moorland roads. It is a great region for outdoor activities, including walking, cycling and horse riding.
